ABOUT THE ARTIST
YUCK is a rising artist who burst onto the streaming scene in 2016. Having always had a natural affinity for music, the New York born artist honed his craft over the years to become the songwriter that he is today. Although he receives inspiration from a number of styles, YUCK combines a variety of compositional elements to form his unique sound. In addition to his work within the music industry, YUCK is also the CEO of The Polar Movement LLC. Check out their official website here! With more than two hundred sold out venues under his belt at some of his city’s most popular spots, including Ben’s Chili Bowl and Big Chief, YUCK is now thoroughly established within the music scene; proclaiming himself as “The Voice of The Oppressed” as he aspires to “motivate and inspire individuals going through the struggle or overcoming obstacles in life”.
YUCK has already received recognition from a variety of publications such as Hip Hop since 1987, The Shade Room, and Hot 97. He has accumulated a plethora of onstage experience over the years; performing with the likes of KRS ONE and DJ Luke Nasty, opening for Lil Baby at the Hampton University Homecoming concert in 2019, and headlining for a sold-out crowd at SOBs in NYC. YUCK has also won numerous accolades for his music; including a nomination for best song in the DMV (2019) at the Wammie Awards for his track ‘Black Brother’ featuring Ayytone, and winning the Urban Media Makers Film Festival award for best music video in ATL for his release ‘You Didn’t Know’
To date, YUCK has three albums in his Spotify discography: ‘BlackXsilence’, ‘The B.A.E. Album’, and ‘Who Do You Love?’. With a growing number of followers and listeners, there is no denying the fact that YUCK is developing a dedicated following of loyal fans who will be eager to hear his upcoming album.
