ABOUT THE ARTIST
Vermin & the Beachrat, the creative alias of Massachusetts-born Joe Lamore, is a seasoned singer-songwriter set to release his newest single, I’ve Got Sunshine the Remix, on May 5th. Joe’s musical journey traces back to his childhood, starting with playing the accordion in 2nd Grade. Over the years, he has developed into a versatile multi-instrumentalist, crafting a unique and deeply authentic sound.
Joe’s early years were marked by playing in various bands, but in 2009, he chose to pursue a solo career, releasing his debut EP Crossin the Line, a collection of seven tracks that showcased his songwriting and musical prowess. Despite taking a hiatus from the music industry to focus on family commitments, Joe’s passion for music was reignited in 2019 when he was asked to perform at family gatherings. This rekindled his songwriting flame, leading him back to the studio.
Drawing inspiration from a variety of musical styles, Vermin & the Beachrat’s sound is derived from diverse influences, blending into something wholly original. His discography, featuring ten singles and three albums available on Spotify, highlights his evolving artistry and ability to connect with listeners.
