California™ is a project rooted in classic rock heritage and shaped by modern innovation. Led by founding member Les Fradkin, the group first gained attention with hit singles on Laurie Records in the 1970s and 80s, and has since returned with renewed creative momentum and a string of recent independent chart successes.
Les Fradkin is a multi-instrumentalist, composer, and producer whose career spans stage, studio, and cutting-edge technology. From his role as George Harrison in the original Broadway production of Beatlemania to his work as a solo artist and MIDI guitar pioneer, he has consistently pushed musical boundaries. His performances and songwriting credits include collaborations with internationally recognised artists and surf rock legends.
Now joined by his wife and collaborator Loretta Fradkin, Les continues to guide California™ with a blend of experience and vision. The result is a sound that honours their roots while embracing what comes next.
