ABOUT THE ARTIST
David Belle, a renowned film producer turned singer-songwriter, has seamlessly transitioned into the music industry with his debut album, The Beginning. His multifaceted career now spans across producing, singing, and songwriting, showcasing his broad artistic range. Belle collaborated with Alessandro Meynardi to co-write and produce this inaugural project, bringing it to life in their Black Lotus recording studios based in Los Angeles.
The Beginning features an array of talented musicians, including drummer Lorenzo Meynardi, pianist Riccardo Gresino, backing vocalist Rafi, lead vocalist Josie Maran, and Grammy-winner Charlie McCoy on harmonica. Belle’s previous venture includes co-producing the benefit album Let the Rhythm Lead alongside Rock n’ Roll Hall of Fame inductee Jackson Browne and multi-talented Jonathan Wilson. The track "Love is Love," co-written with Browne, gained notable recognition and was featured on Browne’s album Downhill from Everywhere.
