ABOUT THE ARTIST
Daniel Abud is a rising artist who burst onto the streaming scene in 2020. Having always had a natural talent for music, the multi-instrumentalist honed his craft over the years to become the songwriter that he is today. After playing with bands for past seven years, Daniel made the decisions to return to his solo project to explore “making hip-hop beats…and rapping alongside with singing”. Although he receives inspiration from a number of styles, from math rock and post rock to synth pop and experimental trap, Daniel Abud combines a variety of compositional elements to form his unique sound.
“Artistically, I draw inspiration from silence. There is freedom in being silent and letting the mind flow, so I usually approach projects without any plan or concept. For me, art is linked to the contemplative, the spiritual; to worship, to the hellish and the glorious.”
