ABOUT THE ARTIST
Yung Dago is an up and coming rapper, singer, songwriter and ghost writer. The Atlanta born Hip-Hop/Rap artist, having always had an interest in music, began songwriting around ten years ago and has been honing his craft ever since. Yung Dago’s sound has been described as melodic and filled with “passion in pain”.
To date, Yung Dago has one previously released EP in his discography: ‘Too Much Motion Vol.1’. After the release was a success with his fans, Yung Dago is now set to drop his second EP on the thirtieth of October. With such a positive response from his first release, it’s fair to say that Yung Dago is steadily building some serious momentum going into the final few months of 2020.

Our featured EP, ‘P.O.M.E’ by Yung Dago, is to be released on the thirtieth of October and will be available to stream on all major streaming platforms! The EP consists of seven unique tracks that showcase the diverse talent of Yung Dago’s songwriting skills.
The first single from the EP: ‘Poverty & Pain (freestyle)’, lasts two minutes and six seconds and sits at a smooth 88bpm. The single commences with a nine second instrumental introduction that combines stylistic vocalisations with a foundational piano and subtly layered keys; setting the melodic tone for the proceeding verse.
The vocal color is clean and emotive; seamlessly synchronising with the flow of the instrumental accompaniment. The systematic implementation of a second vocal line (check out 0:55 to 1:05) adds just the right amount of depth to the main vocal without detracting from its prominence in the mix. The smooth lyricism, combined with the catchy hook, ensures that this single is engaging from start to finish.
