ABOUT THE ARTIST
Xpollo is a Dance/EDM artist that delivers sounds that are “ethereal and truly out of this world”. Some of Xpollo’s biggest musical influences include the likes of Jauz, Joyride, and Tchami. Although he is inspired by the work of others, Xpollo has developed his own unique compositional style that combines elements of futuristic house and EDM.
To date, Xpollo has five Single/EP releases available on Spotify: ‘Gravity’ (2017), ‘Voyager (Party Starter)’ (2017), ‘Constellations’ (2017), ‘Ride’ (2017) and ‘Orbital’ (2019). With tracks like ‘Gravity’ amassing almost thirty-three thousand streams, and ‘Voyager (Party Starter)’ gathering over fifteen thousand streams, it’s fair to say that Xpollo has developed quite the following of dedicated fans. With his new single set for release later this month, 2020 will unquestionably be a big year for the continuation of Xpollo’s streaming success.

Our featured single, ‘The Unknown’ by Xpollo, is to be released on the seventeenth of July and will be available to stream on all major streaming platforms! The single sits at a steady 130bpm and lasts two minutes and thirty-one seconds. The track commences with the immediate instigation of the vocal line that is coupled with ambient instrumentation; creating a sense of anticipation for the initial drop that kicks in at the 0:29 mark.
A memorable melodic hook repeats on the synth whilst also synchronising with the prominent beat. A variety of stylistic instrumental shifts, coupled with the systematic reversion to the vocal line, create a single that has just the right amount of diversity. Although the vocal line repeats at various sections of the track, the use of creative production elements, such as the pre-drop crescendo brought on by the progressive percussive beat from 1:35 to 1:43, make this track engaging from start to finish.
