ABOUT THE ARTIST
Tribal Legacy is a New York based Caribbean band that burst onto the streaming scene in 2000. Having been described as a “fixture on the New York Tri-State area scene for 25 years”, Tribal Legacy have thoroughly established themselves; they have performed across the states and in Canada in addition to having appeared on MTV’s TRL.
Although the band is inspired by various artists, their unique sound amalgamates a variety of stylistic elements. The two main writers of Tribal Legacy are Owen Romeo and Richard Burton. Both artists have had a considerable amount of experience in the music industry; Owen Romeo is a founding member of GT Ninja Band who has also performed with a plethora of Guyanese artists, and Richard Burton is a DJ who is also a popular guest singer for the likes of Traffik, Atlantik and KC & the Internationals.
To date, Tribal Legacy have one album and one single in their online discography.
