ABOUT THE ARTIST
Tolu Dada is an up and coming artist who just released his debut single. Coming from a family of trumpeters and with his sister being a vocalist, Tolu Dada began his journey into music when he was just seven years old. Initially practicing the trumpet, Tolu went on to play Bass, Acoustic Guitar, Baritone, Tuba, Piano, Organ, and even had a few vocal lessons.
For the past eight years, Tolu Dada has played with the Live Out Loud Band in Houston and has accumulated over sixteen years as a professional musician. With a plethora of performance experience Tolu has opened up and played for acts that include: Mario, Tobe Newigwe, Solange Knowles, Matthew Knowles, Oshun, Donnie Hosuton, Slim Thug, D.J. Chose, Willie D., Ty Dolla $, and Shawn McLemore.
As a first generation Nigerian, Tolu Dada believes that he has achieved his current level of success by simply dedicating himself to learning from trial and error; in the absence of “mentors to look up to and gain knowledge and understanding from”. Having already amassed over seven thousand followers on Instagram, it is clear that Tolu Dada is cultivating a dedicated following of loyal fans who will be eager to hear his debut single.
