ABOUT THE ARTIST
The Side Deal is a four piece band from Newport Beach, California. Having already developed successful careers in the music industry independent from one another, each band member was drawn together by their “shared passion for great music”.
The four members of the band have amassed quite the collective set of accolades to date: Charlie Colin of Train is a two-time Grammy Award winning artist; Stan Frazier of Sugar Ray has two Platinum records and is a two-time No. 1 hit songwriter with four Billboard Top 10 singles; Joel Owen and Scott Owen were included in “The 10 New Artists You Need to Know” by Rolling Stone Magazine following their sixth independent record release.

‘I Can See Clearly Now’ is The Side Deal’s interpretation of the 1972 single by Johnny Nash. Although the tempo has dropped fractionally from 124bpm to around 122bpm when compared with the original, the totality of the track remains true to the Nash origin.
Goldie Records teamed up with The Side Deal to produce the music video for the single, released on the forth of June on YouTube. The purpose behind the video, featuring various shots of humanity on earth, is to bring hope to the viewers and listeners; giving them something to reminisce about and look forward to after the lockdown is over.
