On today’s episode, I had the opportunity to interview Dr Sam Costello; a consultant gastroenterologist at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital. Dr Costello undertook his PhD on FMT as a treatment for Ulcerative Colitis and has been an invited speaker at the Australian and international conferences. With numerous peer reviewed publications, focusing on the gut microbiome and FMT, Dr Costello implemented his specialised knowledge to co-found BiomeBank and coordinate the South Australian FMT service.
