ABOUT THE ARTIST
The Marica Frequency is an up and coming Welsh indie folk band who burst onto the streaming scene in 2017 with their album: ‘Nursery Rhymes’. The band was founded back in 2015 by singer-songwriter Christopher Evans. The Marica Frequency’s official lineup has changed a number of times since its formation, however the permanent members, Christopher Evans and Marisa Frantz, are the main songwriters. Although The Marica Frequency receives creative inspiration from a number of artists, it amalgamates a variety of stylistic elements to from its unique sound. All of the band’s music is recorded at the Ratboy & Maggot Studios, Wales.
To date, The Marica Frequency has five albums in its online discography. Some of its most popular tracks include the likes of ‘Open Arms’, amassing almost twenty-three thousand three hundred streams, ‘Written By Rabbits’, gathering over eighteen thousand streams, and ‘Borrowed Time’, with over fifteen thousand four hundred streams.
