ABOUT THE ARTIST
The HC Oakes Band were originally founded by HC Oakes and additionally consists of Nick Elhini, Paul Marshburn, Mike Robertson and Amy Ehrlich. The band play over one-hundred and twenty-five shows each year and have performed at venues across the states. Their musical style incorporates elements of rock, country, blues and folk; amalgamating various elements from each genre to form their unique sound.

Our featured single, ‘Herd Immunity’ by The HC Oakes Band, is out now and available to stream on all major streaming platforms! The single was written during the Covid-19 quarantine by HC Oakes whilst staying in the mountains of Virginia.
“The song expresses my Covid 19 experience to date; many people relate to the lyrics…Herd Immunity is our hope, our one way to end this pandemic.”
The single lasts four minutes and fourteen seconds and sits in at around 135bpm. The track commences with a twenty second instrumental introduction that features an electric guitar riff which ends with a partial crescendo that incorporates building percussion; setting the tone for the proceeding verse.
