ABOUT THE ARTIST

The Graf-Botsford Experiment is a collaboration between songwriter Mitche Graf and singer Nate Botsford. Graf began working on the album twenty-five years ago and continually developed each of the tracks; allowing them to evolve naturally over the years.

As a result of this long-term dedication to the songwriting process, “each of the twelve tracks has a timeless quality, sounding like they could have topped the charts anytime in the last five decades”. Graf’s writing style draws from “deeply personal” life experiences which are resultantly moulded to form an authentic and original sound.

Our featured album, ‘Life's Journey’ by The Graf-Botsford Experiment, is out now and available to stream on all major streaming platforms! The album is comprised of twelve tracks and lasts around thirty-nine minutes.

The opening track, ‘Christmas With You’, sits at a steady 120bpm and features multiple layers of acoustic guitar and a stylistic/rich vocal color that seamlessly synchronises with the smooth instrumental accompaniment. A subtle harmony line in the main hook adds a depth to the sound that makes the melody all the more memorable. The track paints “a vivid picture of holiday magic”, sending the listener back to those nostalgic memories of good times spent with loved ones during the holidays.

From the romantic, acoustic flow of the love song ‘Marry Me’, written for Graf’s wife, to the emotive vocal performance and deep subject matter in ‘You Were My Everything’, composed as a tribute to those who have lost a parent, fans of The Graf-Botsford Experiment, as well as those who appreciate new and creative music, will definitely want to hear this album.
