ABOUT THE ARTIST
thakk1d is an up and coming artist who burst onto the streaming scene in 2021. Having always had a natural affinity for music composition, thakk1d’s grandmother helped him to buy a computer so that he could go to music school through his financial aid. Drawing from his own personal life experience, thakk1d uses music and lyricism as a form of “healing” from childhood trauma.
Although he has been compared to artists such as Usher, Chris Brown, and Justin Timberlake, thakk1d combines a variety of compositional elements to form his unique sound. To date, thakk1d has one single in his online discography: ‘Losing Sleep’.
