FEATURED RELEASE

Our featured single, ‘Black Hurts’ by Terry Blade, is out on the 30th of October and will be available to stream on all major streaming platforms! The single lasts three minutes and twenty-seven seconds and sits at a smooth 93bpm. The track commences with a twenty second instrumental introduction that combines a jazz-styled guitar progression with a subtle wah-wah effected clean electric layer; setting the melodic tone for the proceeding verse.

The steady percussive layer kicks in at the 0:21 mark and resultantly pushes the smooth rhythmic flow. Terry’s vocal color is clean and soulful; seamlessly synchronising with the instrumental accompaniment. The implementation of multiple harmonised backing vocals adds just the right amount of depth to the overall sound without detracting from the main vocal. The layered vocals during the chorus provides a richness to the melody that makes the hook all the more memorable.

From the well balanced production and creative instrumental composition, to the impressive vocal performance, fans of Terry Blade, as well as those who appreciate new and creative music, will definitely want to hear this single.
