ABOUT THE ARTIST
Spacecadet Lullabies, also known as Matt Lewin, is a rising producer who burst onto the streaming scene in 2009. The Melbourne based artist has always had a natural talent for production and composition; honing his talent over the years to become the artist that he is today. Although he receives creative inspiration from a number of styles, Spacecadet Lullabies combines a variety of compositional elements to form his unique sound.
To date, Spacecadet Lullabies has three albums, one single and one EP in his online discography. Some of his most popular tracks include the likes of ‘The Map Maker, Pt. 1’, ‘Heirloom’, and ‘The Map Maker, Pt. 2’. With a growing number of followers and listeners, there is no denying the fact that Spacecadet Lullabies is developing a dedicated following of loyal fans.

Our featured album, ‘The Map Maker’ by Spacecadet Lullabies, is out now and available to stream on all major streaming platforms! The album consists of five tracks and lasts around thirty-two minutes. Spacecadet Lullabies worked solely from samples that he “created from a collection of unheard recordings made by his enigmatic grandfather on a reel to reel tape”.
Although ‘The Map Maker’ is technically grouped under one genre classification, each track delivers a diverse range of compositional elements that showcase Spacecadet Lullabies’ songwriting talent; from the atmospheric vibe and ambient sounds that gradually swell with the natural flow of ‘The Map Maker, Pt. 1’, the ethereal melodic effect that subtly fades from around 3:40 to give a more ominous resonant tone in ‘The Map Maker, Pt. 3’, to the prominent percussion that cuts through the mix and drives the rhythmic intensity of ‘Heirloom’.
