ABOUT THE ARTIST
SoundCup is an up and coming artist who burst onto the streaming scene this year. Having always had a natural affinity for music, SoundCup honed his craft over the years before releasing his original music. To date, SoundCup has two releases to his name.
The first track was a remix of K-391 - Mystery which was composed for a remix competition. His second track, which is also our featured single, came after SoundCup began taking online music production courses and was inspired to create an original piece.
Although he receives creative inspiration from a number of styles ranging from central European steady beats to Latin rhythms, SoundCup combines a variety of compositional elements to form his unique sound.

The track commences with a fourteen second instrumental introduction that features an ambient synth riff alongside a foundational piano progression and steady percussion; setting the tone for the proceeding verse. The percussion drops out for the initial vocal, allowing for a greater prominence to be placed on the clean vocal color that seamlessly synchronises with the smooth instrumental accompaniment.
