Although Sebastian has had much success with his piano/cello releases, his passion for Electronica has been an important part of his life since the young age of ten. When asked about the origin of his latest Electronic EP, Sebastian had this to say:
“I am working as a media composer for some tech companies and was asked to score music for little electronic components and from that work, I further developed the music for my first electronic release”
‘Music For Components’ is a six track, twenty-one minute EP that combines Sebastian’s expertly refined compositional talent with electronic sounds that maintain his emotive style, whilst also creating a completely unique work.
Sebastian’s style is felt throughout each track, yet the compositional diversity in this EP will definitely please electronic fans; the ambient panned synth coupled with the foundational bass of ‘H Chip’, the eerily delayed piano and synth swells of ‘Metabolite’, the rhythmic tempo and swirling sounds of ‘Polymer’, the prominent beat and phased synth of ‘IC Signal’, the emotive keys and melodic riff of ‘Switch’; the prominent high-pitched synth coupled with a deeper phased sounds of ‘Lan AQ’.
Fans of Sebastian Morawietz, as well as those who appreciate new and creative Electronic music, will absolutely want to hear this EP. Make sure you follow Sebastian Morawietz on his social media to keep up to date with his upcoming releases and performances!
