ABOUT THE ARTIST
Romero Uno is an independent artist who is based in Los Angeles, California. After getting stabbed multiple times and resultantly being blinded in one eye, Romero Uno made the decision to shift the way he approached making music and channel his frustration into creative energy; birthing his latest album ‘XXTR4T3RR3STR!4L’. Building a reputation as a serious artist, Romero has had the opportunity to work with the likes of XXL Cover freshmen of 09 Blu and Mickey Factz with the help of his producer Alien.D.
To date, Romero Uno has released two albums, ‘XXTR4T3RR3STR!4L’ (2019) and ‘$uicide Thot$’ (2016), as well as nine Single/EPs: ‘Slab City Blues’, ‘$uicide Thot$’. ‘$cumbag$ (feat. About Time)’, ‘The Miserables’, ‘Bullet In the Chamber (feat. Sehya), ‘FIIIDT’, ‘Way Out’, ‘Viva Mexico’, and ‘$uicide Thot$ II’.

The featured artist on this new single is former MMG and Rostrum Records artist Rockie Fresh who released his new album last month: ‘Fresh Veggies’.

The single lasts two minutes and forty-six seconds and sits at a smooth 99bpm. The track commences with a ten second introduction that combines ambient/effected vocalisations with a steady percussive beat; setting the rhythmic flow for the proceeding verse. Romero Uno’s vocal color is clean and relaxed whilst also maintaining a dynamic diversification that synchronises with the various melodic shifts throughout the single.
