ABOUT THE ARTIST
Redeye Carter Band is an up and coming band who burst onto the streaming scene in 2010. The band were formed back in 2009 by Chuck Daniels and Joe Cenina after the pair “played gigs for the US Navy and Government Employees whilst working on Warfighter Programs during the Iraq and Afghanistan conflicts”.
Although they receive creative inspiration from a number of styles, Redeye Carter Band combines a variety of compositional elements to form their unique sound. Our featured album, ‘Redeye Carter-Here We Go!’, was originally written to “bring back the early 70's sound” from bands such as Dr Hook, King Harvest, Red Bone, and Christie.
Since the creation of the album, Joe Cenina has left the band and “attempts have been made to rebuild it with new players”. To date, Redeye Carter Band have one album and one single in their online discography.

Although the EP is technically grouped under one genre classification, each track delivers a diverse range of compositional elements that showcase Redeye Carter Band’s songwriting talent; from the upbeat percussive flow, emotive vocal color and impressive electric guitar solo of ‘Everybody Gotta Pay’, the smooth acoustic guitar progression that combines with the steady beat to provide the perfect platform for the layered vocals in the main hook of ‘Sky High’, to the creative instrumental arrangement that has just the right amount of dynamic diversity with the quieter verse contrasting perfectly with the more intense chorus in ‘Island of Jade’.
