Randy Wilde is an LA based artist who burst onto the streaming scene this year. The bassist, songwriter and performer has always had a natural affinity for music; running around his childhood home playing a broom guitar which eventually led to learning his first instrument.
Although he initially wanted to learn drums, Randy ended up learning the bass as his cousins wanted to start a band and needed a bass player. From that point on, Randy had found his path. Randy’s musical talent definitely runs in the family; his great uncle was the legendary Joe "King" Oliver from New Orleans who became Louis Armstrong's musical mentor.
Although he receives creative inspiration from a number of artists such as Hendrix and Prince, Randy Wilde combines a variety of compositional elements to form his unique sound. Randy has already been nominated two times for Best Bassist at the LA Music Awards. To date, Randy Wilde has one singles in his online discography: ‘Whatcha Gonna Do’.
