ABOUT THE ARTIST
Pipi Pango is a well established artist who dropped his first streaming release in 2018. Having attended the National Film School/Sound Training Centre in Dublin, Pipi Pango gained the background knowledge in music production that he would utilise in his future songwriting endeavours. Although he is inspired by artists such as Fela Kuti, Femi Kuti, U2, Coldplay, Kanye West and P. Diddy, Pipi Pango’s unique sound combines a plethora of stylistic elements.
To date, Pipi Pango has six singles, one EP and one album in his online discography. Some of his most popular tracks include the likes of ‘Shake Body’, amassing almost twenty-three thousand streams, ‘Lagos to London’, gathering over twenty-two thousand streams, and ‘Street Love’, with nineteen thousand streams. With more than thirty-two thousand regular monthly listeners on Spotify alone, Pipi Pango has cultivated a huge following of fans who will definitely want to hear his debut album.

The album was “inspired by the lockdown…to bring positivity and a good African vibe during this hard time”, and to “bring awareness to African leaders to wake up and take their rightful position at the world stage [by] representing their people well”.
