ABOUT THE ARTIST

peejmudd, also known as Philip Patton, is a well established artist who has been on the music scene for over a decade and is based in Chico, California. Having always had a natural affinity for music and composition, peejmudd was taught piano at just six years old. He took up the guitar by thirteen and continued to hone his craft as a musician.

Throughout his years growing up, peejmudd was always involved in some form of musical performance; he accompanied his Jr. High orchestra on piano, played organ for his church, and became a music director at a summer camp. He later went on to attend a school with a “specialty in recording arts”.

peejmudd initially played with a band called The Half Pints between 1997 and 1999 before deciding to write and record his own original solo material in 2013. Although he receives creative inspiration from a number of styles such as Rock, Post-Rock, Indie and Alternative, peejmudd combines a variety of compositional elements to form his unique sound.

Seeing music as a “form of communication…a way to open up”, peejmudd draws from personal experiences to create his authentic style. peejmudd has had his music feature on a number of online outlets that include the likes of ‘Flashback 2015: Post Rock List’ on ItDjents.com, and ‘Best of Post-Rock November 2013’ on Droox Mixes YouTube Channel.

To date, peejmudd has twenty-six tracks in his SoundCloud discography. Some of his most popular releases include the likes of ‘Clear Your Mind’, amassing two thousand six hundred plays, ‘Once More’, gathering over one thousand four hundred plays, and ‘Step Into The Light’, with over five hundred plays. With a growing number of followers and listeners, there is no denying the fact that peejmudd has developed a dedicated following of loyal fans.
