ABOUT THE ARTIST
As a forth generation Californian, Paul Haas has been writing songs for the past thirty-five years whilst balancing a life as a single parent and working in the trucking industry. In the winter of 2019, Paul commenced with the creation of his first record.
With influences that include the likes of George Jones, Waylon Jennings, Hank Williams, Bill Monroe, Bob Wills, Buddy Holly and the late J.J.Cale, it is fair to say that Paul takes inspiration from some of the greats.
Although names such as the one’s listed above are dropped regularly when it comes to the provision of influential art, Paul Haas refuses to be anything but himself when it comes to his own creative convictions.

The upcoming debut album, ‘Long Long Time’, is expected to drop on the 26th of June this year. Produced by Chris Murphy, the ten track album’s first track is our featured single, ‘She Told Me’.
Sitting at a smooth 80bpm, this country track begins with a clean electric riff that instigates the instrumentation. The vocal color of Paul Haas is clean and perfectly suits the style of the single. Telling the tale of a love story, the lyrical content centres around the repeated phrase, “she told me”, with the revelation that the woman has found her “one” in Paul: “[she] told me that I was the one”.
Perfectly panned vocal harmony lines throughout the track add an element of creative flare that feels reminiscent of classic country. A solo section from 1:25 to 2:01 incorporates a plethora of various instrumentation that makes this section significantly stand out.
