ABOUT THE ARTIST
One Less Guest are a Duluth based quartet comprised of Nick Muska on guitar, Ren Cooper on violin, Nick Glass on bass and Cody Thoreson on drums.

The band initially began their music career back in 2018 as an acoustic duo. Gradually progressing their compositional style, the duo developed into a quartet, releasing their eight track debut album ‘Monochrome’ in April of this year.

The single lasts four minutes and fifty one seconds and utilises a stylistic, syncopated percussive beat to drive the melodic flow of the instrumentation. The first twenty seconds of the single amalgomate the eclectic beat with a clean electric guitar progression and a foundational bass-line, creating a sound that is unique to One Less Guest.
The prominent violin layer drops in at the 0:21 mark and sets the tone for the commencement of the vocal line at 0:39. The vocal color is clean and emotive, matching the creative yet smooth tone of the instrumentation. Subtle vocal harmonisations add a depth to the sound.
