ABOUT THE ARTIST
OB Rokkout is an up and coming artist who burst onto the streaming scene last year. The Oslo based artist “just recently started taking rapping seriously” and has already released an impressive amount of original music. Having always had a natural affinity for lyricism, the self taught rapper has gradually honed his craft. Although he receives creative inspiration from a number of artists, OB Rokkout combines a variety of compositional elements to form his unique sound.
To date, OB Rokkout has nine tracks in his SoundCloud discography. Some of his most popular tracks include the likes of ‘Glizzy’, amassing nine thousand plays, ‘ft LoudPack Glady - Spare Nobody’, gathering over nine thousand five hundred plays, and ‘Bandz Drop’, with over two thousand six hundred plays. With numbers like that on SoundCloud alone, there is no denying the fact that OB Rokkout is developing a dedicated following of loyal fans.

Although the EP is technically grouped under one genre classification, each track delivers a diverse range of compositional elements that showcase OB Rokkout’s songwriting talent.
‘Prayers’ lasts two minutes and forty-seven seconds and sits at 82bpm. A melodic piano layer amalgamates with the prominent beat to deliver just the right amount of dynamic diversity; ensuring that this song is engaging from start to finish. The main vocal is clean and sits at just the right level in the mix. The combination of the catchy riff and authentic lyricism make this a single you’ll definitely want to check out.
