ABOUT THE ARTIST
My.Call is an up and coming Hip-Hop/Rap artist who ventured onto the music scene on the thirteenth of July this year with his debut single: ‘5am’. When asked where the decision to create this new venture came from, My.Call had this to say:
“[I’m] trying to do something fresh and original, I have sang in rock and alternative bands before but now I’m trying to push out of my comfort zone and do something more electronic.”
My.Call’s latest EP release, ‘Outerspace Cowboy’, lasts around fourteen minutes and consists of five tracks: ‘Thinking’, ‘Care About You’, ‘5am’, ‘Faded’ and ‘Cigarettes Now’.

The first track on the EP, ‘Thinking’, sits in at around a smooth 113bpm. My.Call’s vocal color is soft and emotive; matching the melodic flow of the gentle instrumental style. A foundational beat carries the tempo throughout whilst also systematically dropping out to allow the vocal line to take the prominent position in the mix. A subtle sub-bass provides a depth to the track that creates a platform for the additional layers of panned instrumentation.
