ABOUT THE ARTIST
Moonray is an Austin-based duo whose unique style features a, “synth-pop sound with a cosmic twist [that] immediately stirs up overwhelming feelings of happiness, nostalgia and inspiration”. The pop duo is comprised of Jonray Higginbotham and his wife, Barbara. Inspired by the likes of Duran Duran, Depeche Mode and Flaming Lips, Moonray has established themselves on the music scene after performing at venues that include: Empire Control Room, Stubbs in Austin, and the Paper Tiger in San Antonio. The couple also owns Kingdom Sound; a boutique sound service in their home state that provides recording, mixing and mastering services, in addition to providing live sound for events and concerts.
To date, Moonray has four Singles/EPs available to stream on their online discography.
