ABOUT THE ARTIST
Madbucksz is originally from the Bronx in New York and was first intrigued by music when he was a child; free-styling for fun and “bragging rights” with his brothers. Upon recognising his natural affinity with word play and creative lyricism, Madbucksz began to hone his talent by working with a variety of artists over the years. One of those individuals, Tyrone, is his current manager.
After becoming proficient as an lyricist and producer, Madbucksz built his own studio along with the help of his wife Nicole. The duo are set to release an album together in 2021. Establishing his own independent label, hitseakersz, Madbucksz’s online discography includes one single: ‘Little Things’ (2020), and one album: ‘Starbucksz’ (2020).
With tracks like ‘Bip in My Drip’ amassing almost seventeen thousand streams, ‘Success’ gathering over ten thousand streams, and ‘Little Things’ with over four and a half thousand streams, it’s fair to say that Madbucksz has developed a dedicated following of loyal fans.

The opening track ‘Who You Ridin’ Wit’, lasts two minutes and nineteen seconds and sits at a steady 75bpm. The track commences with a soundbite that is followed by subtle instrumentation and a seemingly improvised vocal line. The first verse kicks in around the 0:20 mark and prominently features the dynamically controlled and intense vocal color of Madbucksz. A steady beat and foundational sub-bass drive the rhythmic flow of the instrumentation and resultantly add to the memorable melodic hook. Subtle layers of instrumental elements are stylistically panned and given a reverberated effect that provides an atmospheric depth. A point that features a creative flare can be found between 0:48 and 1:07 when the fast-paced rhythmic rap of Madbucksz takes the most prominent position in the mix. His ability to hold the melodic flow, systematically varying the spacing whilst maintaining the quick tempo, creates an authentic and original sound.
