ABOUT THE ARTIST
Mad Max is an up and coming artist who burst onto the streaming scene in 2018 with his single ‘La’. The South Louisiana based artist is only twenty-five years old and has already begun to build a name for himself with his “originality, controversial content and critical subject matter”. Mad Max was originally born in Germany and lived in various places/military bases throughout his childhood before settling in New York when he was eleven.
In 2005, Mad Max began experimenting with music producing/beatmaking and found himself naturally gifted in the art of composition and songwriting. Although he wrote his first verse at the age of thirteen, Mad Max didn’t officially take recording seriously until he was twenty-one. Since then, he has honed his talent and established himself as an artist to keep an eye on. Although Mad Max takes creative inspiration from the likes of 2pac, Deadprez, Lil Wayne, Nas, Prince, Sade, Keith Sweat, Three 6 Mafia, Nirvana and Cradle of Filth, Mad Max blends a variety of stylistic elements to form his authentic sound.
To date, Mad Max has four singles and one album in his online discography. Some of his most popular tracks include the likes of ‘Mad’, gathering over six thousand seven hundred streams, ‘Bystander Effect’, with two thousand one hundred streams, and ‘Her’, amassing over one thousand streams. With over one thousand three hundred regular monthly listeners on Spotify alone, it’s fair to say that Mad Max is steadily developing a dedicated fan base which increases with every new release.
