ABOUT THE ARTIST

Macabe is a rising artist who burst onto the streaming scene in 2021. The North Dakota born songwriter has always had a natural affinity for music; honing his craft over the years to become the artist that he is today. After initially focusing on drums and percussion, Macabe later shifted his attention to the guitar and continued to grow his ability and diversity as a multi-instrumentalist.

Performing throughout his life, Macabe has developed a plethora of experience in the music industry as he continuously refines his style. Although he receives creative inspiration from a number of artists such as Sly and The Family Stone, The Meters and Grant Green, Macabe combines a variety of compositional elements to form his unique sound.

To date, Macabe has four singles in his online discography. Some of his most popular tracks include the likes of ‘West End’, amassing almost three thousand eight hundred streams, ‘Step Back’, gathering over three thousand two hundred streams, and ‘Off The Path’, with over two thousand four hundred streams. With more than two thousand four hundred regular monthly listeners on Spotify alone, there is no denying the fact that Macabe has developed a dedicated following of loyal fans.

Our featured EP, ‘Bring It Back’ by Macabe, is out May 28th and will be available to stream on all major streaming platforms! The EP consists of five tracks.

The title track, ‘Bring It Back’, lasts four minutes and sits at a steady 90bpm. The single commences with a ten second intro that sets the overall tone. The bass line provides the perfect foundation, when combined with the rhythmic beat and memorable keys progression, for the main guitar line to sit prominently in the mix.
