ABOUT THE ARTIST
Kevin Riady is an up and coming artist who burst onto the streaming scene this year. The Jakarta (Indonesia) born songwriter has always had a natural affinity for music; with a natural ability to sing and later becoming the flute principal of ITB Student Orchestra. After suffering a TMJ disorder and cervical spasm, Kevin was forced to give up on his aspirations of playing flute professionally.
Kevin Riady went on to sing in an a capella grouped which competed in the UK Voice Fest of 2017. Honing his craft as a singer-songwriter, Kevin began to write original songs and teach himself multiple instruments. Although he receives creative inspiration from a number of artists such as Five For Fighting, My Chemical Romance, and Chet Baker, Kevin Riady combines a variety of compositional elements to form his unique sound. Aside from his music career, Kevin used to work as an engineer with a degree in Human Factors Engineering. Even with his professional background, it was apparent that Kevin’s true calling was to write music.
To date, Kevin Riady has one single in his online discography: ‘Home’, amassing more than two thousand two hundred streams since its recently release. With more than four regular monthly listeners on Spotify alone, there is no denying the fact that Kevin Riady is steadily developing a dedicated following of loyal fans.
