ABOUT THE ARTIST
Kb8 is an up and coming artist who dropped his debut single, ‘Confusion19’, earlier this year. His interest in music composition stems from his grandmother who happened to be a music teacher. After dropping out of college at the age of nineteen, Kb8 began building his own studio. Since then, he has honed his craft and gradually became the proficient songwriter that he is today. After the pandemic hit, Kb8 decided that he had waited “long enough” and that the time had come for him to use his music to project his creative energy.
“I truly believe that humanity’s choices over the centuries have caused so many problems that we are now on the brink of extinction. We are in the middle of a climate crisis and we desperately need to wake up and start paying attention to our planet and all of the life that exists on it. I truly believe that my music can make a difference.”
To date, Kb8 has eleven singles that are available to be streamed on Spotify. Some of his most successful tracks include the likes of ‘Wear a Mask’, amassing an impressive one hundred and seven thousand streams, and ‘Fly Away’ with over eleven thousand streams on Spotify alone. With almost thirty-five thousand monthly listeners, Kb8 has clearly cultivated a large following of dedicated fans.
