ABOUT THE ARTIST
Kairos X is a Hip-Hop/Rap artist from Philadelphia who has been writing music for the past twelve years. From around 2018, he made the bold decision to push his songwriting and music production in a more serious direction by recording and releasing tracks more regularly.
Since his first release in 2019, ‘Don’t Sleep On Me’, Kairos X has released a total of six Singles/EPs that are available on all major streaming platforms: ‘Don’t Sleep On Me’ (2019), ‘Never Change’ (2019), ‘You Know The Vibes’ (2019), ‘It’s Kai!!!’ (2020), ‘Stormy’ (2020) and ‘Jetski’ (2020).
With tens of thousands of streams to his name, some of Kairos X’s most successful tracks in his ever expanding discography include ‘Water Flow’, from the 2020 EP ‘It’s Kai!!!’, amassing over thirteen thousand streams, ‘Never Change’ (2019) achieving over eleven thousand streams, and ‘You Know The Vibes’ (2019) with almost seven and a half thousand streams.
If these stats are anything to go by, it’s fair to say that Kairos X has already started to develop momentum as a Hip-Hop/Rap artist. With his latest single set to drop on the twenty-sixth of June, Kairos X continues to build on his already impressive discography.

Our featured single, ‘Mangetsu’ by Kairos X, is out on the twenty-sixth of June and will be available to stream on all major streaming platforms! The single lasts three minutes and thirty four seconds and sits at a smooth 130bpm. The track commences with a fourteen second instrumental introduction that predominantly features a clean electric guitar riff that is gradually met with subtle vocalisations; creating a sense of anticipation for the initial drop into the verse.
The beat, along with a sub-bass, instigate at the 0:14 mark and provide a foundation for the main vocal line. Kairos X’s vocal color is clean and emotive; matching the stylistic flow of the single. A point of creative flare can be found between 2:28 and 2:50 when the percussive beat drops out completely, allowing for Kairos X’s effortless vocal line to take the prominent position in the mix.
