ABOUT THE ARTIST
JustJohn is an up and coming artist who burst onto the streaming scene in 2019. The Atlanta based guitarist/Hip-Hop artist has alway had a natural affinity for musicianship and songwriting. After receiving a placement opportunity on Comedy Central, JustJohn decided to move to Atlanta after finding out that his girlfriend was pregnant.
In 2018, it was discovered that JustJohn’s son had a tumor near his spine. After “numerous surgeries, medical consultations, and hospital visits”, his son made a full recovery; inspiring JustJohn to write the album: ‘Black Father’s Day’. Although he receives creative inspiration from a number of styles, JustJohn combines a variety of compositional elements to form his unique sound.
To date, JustJohn has one album and three singles in his online discography. Some of his most popular tracks include the likes of ‘Cigarette’, amassing almost thirty-seven thousand streams, ‘Stones’, gathering over twelve thousand two hundred streams, and ‘Like That’, with over nine thousand three hundred streams. With more than three thousand one hundred regular monthly listeners on Spotify alone, there is no denying the fact that JustJohn has developed a dedicated following of loyal fans.
