ABOUT THE ARTIST
Joelid is a rising artist who burst onto the streaming scene in 2020. The American rapper, singer/songwriter, record producer and published poet is originally from Florida and now resides in Arizona. Having always had a natural affinity for lyricism, Joelid began rapping when he was a child and honed his craft as freestyle battle rapper. Although he receives creative inspiration from a number of styles, Joelid combines a variety of compositional elements to form his unique sound.
To date, Joelid has one EP and four singles in his online discography. Some of his most popular tracks include the likes of ‘Can I Play’, amassing nine thousand one hundred streams, ‘Finally Famous’, gathering over four thousand seven hundred streams, and ‘Breaking Through’, with over three thousand streams. With more than two thousand one hundred regular monthly listeners on Spotify alone, there is no denying the fact that Joelid has developed a dedicated following of loyal fans. In addition to his upcoming album release, Joelid will also be releasing two new music videos on the 7th of May on his official YouTube Channel: ‘Naked For Me’ and ‘Say Sorry (Clean Version)’.

Joelid recorded the majority of his new album in his own home studio and worked separately on two of the tracks with beat engineer Gary Beatz.
“Truly, I didn’t expect the album to turn out so well, but have in mind that I’ve been recording it for 10 years; repeatedly trashing it and starting over. The new songs are inspired by some huge life-changing events taking course over that time, including Covid-19 and the dramatic pause on the worlds movement. I also got married, had children, own a house, ect. So, I would call this a matured album.”
Although ‘Remix To Resurrect’ is technically grouped under one genre classification, each track delivers a diverse range of compositional elements that showcase Joelid’s songwriting talent; “[spanning] from relaxed dance driven songs to strong rapping vocals”. The additional reprise of Joelid’s successful tracks ‘I Can Pay’ and ‘Angel Leaps’, remixed with an electronic dance theme, ensures that fans will definitely want to hear this album in its entirety.
