ABOUT THE ARTIST
Jeff Michaels is a singer/songwriter as well as an accomplished pianist. Known for his “thought provoking lyrics [that examine] today’s biggest social and political issues”, Jeff Michaels manages to add his own unique “brand of humour” to create his music. Several of his songs have appeared on the likes of The Real World, Teen Moms (MTV) and the T.O Show (VH1).
Jeff Michaels intentionally writes about difficult and controversial societal issues in order to bring attention to them. Tracks like ‘Same F’ing Sun’ amassed “overwhelming fan support” from gay activist groups, and ‘Boston Strong’ was written to encapsulate the city’s response to the tragic Boston Marathon bombings. Jeff received a personal thank you letter from the Governor of Massachusetts, Duval Patrick.
