ABOUT THE ARTIST
Jay Stott is a singer/songwriter who was first drawn to the world of songwriting at the age of fourteen; “begging his parents for a guitar”. His first song came to him whilst “riding shotgun in a truck on the Alaskan Highway” and he has been writing and releasing music ever since.
In addition to his songwriting career, Jay has experienced a plethora of vocations that include: ski instructor, fishing guide, bus driver, brick layer, carpenter, hot tub technician, retail worker, raft guide, janitor, heavy equipment operator, house painter, vacuum cleaner salesperson, airport shuttle driver, bouncer in a strip club, ‘wanna be’ novelist, newspaper writer and security guard.
To date, Jay Scott has developed an impressive discography on Spotify that is comprised of two Singles and two Albums. One of his most successful tracks is ‘Dirt and Heartache’ (2016), amassing almost three and a half thousand streams on Spotify alone.
