ABOUT THE ARTIST
James Gittins is an up and coming artist who burst onto the streaming scene in 2020. Having always had a natural affinity for music, the Worcestershire based songwriter honed his craft over the years to become the artist that he is today. Although he receives creative inspiration from a number of styles, James Gittins combines a variety of compositional elements to form his unique sound.
James has already established a name for himself since he began releasing his original music; he was featured on BBC Introducing, and played to over ten thousand people at The Time is Now and The Youth Climate Strike in 2019. In addition to his work as an artist, James Gittins is an activist who protests against Whale/Dolphin hunting and is to feature in an independent film by Russian Director and Tech Entrepreneur Dmitry Falcovich.
After self-promoting his Pirate Disco tour in early 2020, James was forced to cancel due to the Pandemic. Using the opportunity, he recruited a new production team and began recording in the studio; continuing to evolve his sound. To date, James Gittins has one album and four singles in his online discography. Some of his most popular tracks include the likes of ‘Ma Music’, ‘Sugar’, ‘Disgrace’, and ‘Cool (The House Mix)’. With a growing number of followers and listeners, there is no denying the fact that James Gittins is developing a dedicated following of loyal fans.
