ABOUT THE ARTIST
ICON is a producer collective that was founded three years ago by Jowan and Rolo. The collective have worked with a multitude of artists over the course of their careers; including the likes of J Balvin, Nicky Jam, Thalía, Sech, Feid, Manuel Turizo and Piso 21.
ICON has four Single/EP releases in their online discography. Some of their most successful tracks to date include the likes of ‘Difícil’, amassing almost fifteen million three hundred thousand streams, ‘Como lo Hiciste Ayer’, gathering over fifteen million seven hundred thousand streams, and ‘Mente Daña’, with one hundred and ninety four thousand streams on Spotify alone. The track commences with a fourteen second introduction that is comprised of ambient instrumentation, gentle swells and subtle vocalisations; setting the tone for the proceeding verse.
