ABOUT THE ARTIST
Hyde Out are an up and coming duo who burst onto the streaming scene in 2018 with their self-produced debut album: ‘Technicolour Ghost’. The band is comprised of Omar and Jaka who have been collaborating since 2014. Both members have a plethora of experience in the music industry; Omar was the “musical lead of several bands throughout Europe and Australia”, and Jake has an extensive history of colaboration with “popular and classical musicians throughout Europe”. Although Hyde Out receive creative inspiration from a number of different artists, they combine a variety of melodic elements to form their unique and authentic sound.
To date, Hyde Out have two albums and one single in their online discography. Some of their most popular tracks include the likes of ‘Alive’, amassing almost thirty-seven thousand streams, and ‘Sere d’estate’, gathering over two thousand two hundred streams. With more than fourteen thousand seven hundred regular monthly listeners on Spotify alone, there is no denying the fact that Hyde Out have developed a dedicated following of loyal fans.

Our featured album, ‘Smoke and Mirrors’ by Hyde Out, is out now and available to stream on all major streaming platforms! Hyde Out’s initial project with the producers at Supreme Tracks, EP: ‘Chiaraluna’, led to their continued collaboration for the band’s latest studio album. The album consists of twelve tracks and lasts around forty-eight minutes.
“Individual song concepts are inspired by selected moments of everyday lives, small realisations and decisions about our relationships with the people and situations that surround us.”
Although the album is technically grouped under one genre classification, each track delivers a dynamically diverse range of melodic elements that showcase Hyde Out’s compositional talent; from the emotive vocal color, ominous melodic flow of the verse and uplifting chorus in ‘Alive’, the rhythmic percussion, seamlessly synchronised backing vocals and epic guitar solo of ‘Ode to J’, the atmospherically effected vocal layers that add a depth to the overall sound, without detracting from the prominence of the main vocal that sits perfectly in the mix of ‘Fluent in Silence’, to the eclectic combination of instrumental elements, including an impressive distorted electric guitar and ambient synth, that amalgamate to form a powerfully driven hook in ‘This Looks Like’.
