Head Fake’s trio of semi-anonymous veteran artists/producers burst onto the streaming scene in 2019. With a collective plethora of experience in the music industry, Head Fake recorded at studios in London, New Jersey, Los Angeles, and Miami. Although it receives creative inspiration from styles such as transformational 80’s music, Head Fake combines a variety of compositional elements to form its unique sound.
To date, Head Fake has one album and six singles/EPs in its online discography. Some of its most popular tracks include the likes of ‘2 A.M.’, amassing sixty-six thousand streams, ‘I’m Found’, gathering over forty thousand streams, and ‘Hollywood Dreams’, with over twenty-three thousand streams. With more than seven thousand five hundred regular monthly listeners on Spotify, there is no denying the fact that Head Fake has cultivated an impressive following.

Our featured EP, ‘HEAD FAKE VS. DUB FU MASTERS’ by Head Fake, is out now and available to stream on all major streaming platforms! The release consists of three tracks and lasts around seventeen minutes. Head Fake teamed up and collaborated with Dub Fu Masters with the intention of bringing their fans a “club vibe experience” amidst the pandemic crisis.
Although the release is grouped under one genre, each of the three featured tracks showcase the collaborative talent of both Head Fake and Dub Fu Masters; from the dark tone of the synth progression that perfectly combines with the foundational sub-bass and powerful electric guitar in ‘One Step’, the funky bass line, rhythmic percussion and phased guitar effects of ‘Trump Funk’, to the stylistic vocal performance, memorable melodic hook and subtle ominous feel of the instrumentation in ‘Overjoyed’.
