The track sits at a solid 170bpm and commences with a twenty-two second instrumental introduction. A powerful bass riff takes a prominent position in the mix for the first ten seconds, coupled with a steady high-hat, before a distorted yet complimentary electric guitar riff kicks in that is accompanied by a more elaborate percussive beat.
The vocal color is clean and relaxed, utilising layered tracks to create a depth that fills out the mix. Hard-panned electric guitar permeates throughout the track, creating a full and unique sound. A point of creative flare can be found from 2:41 to 3:04 when the track breaks down for a bridge that consists of a melodic shift in the vocal line, amalgamated with an epic guitar riff that synchronises seamlessly with the vocal notation.
From the intense riffs of ‘Au Revoir les Enfants’, to the dominant bass and imitated electric guitar riffs of ‘A I’agonie’, to the bass-led melody of ‘Ease the Pain’ that is complimented by equally intense percussive and electric instrumentation, fans of Gonetcha, as well as those who appreciate new and creative rock, will definitely want to hear this album.
