ABOUT THE ARTIST

G-Nerro is an established artist who burst onto the streaming scene in 2017. Having always had a natural affinity for music, G-Nerro has been dropping mixtapes and producing music since high school. The Mississippi Delta born songwriter eventually relocated to the DFW area of Texas to progress his career as a rapper, record producer and indie CEO. Although he receives creative inspiration from a number of styles such as old-school hip-hop, reggae, rock, and delta-blues, G-Nerro combines a variety of compositional elements to form his unique sound.

To date, G-Nerro has two albums and seven singles/EPs in his online discography. Some of his most popular tracks include the likes of ‘Don’t Kill My Vibe’, amassing four thousand six hundred streams, and ‘Phone Jumpin'’, gathering over two thousand streams on Spotify alone. Our featured single, ‘Live Autonomous’ by G-Nerro, is out now and available to stream on all major streaming platforms! The music was produced by Brando WYD and engineered by G-Nerro. Due to the lyrical content of the track, G-Nerro decided to release ‘Live Autonomous’ on the one year anniversary of the shooting of Breonna Taylor. The single is the first release from G-Nerro’s 2021 album ‘Bright Light’ which is scheduled to drop on the 24th of September this year.

The single lasts around three minutes and sits at a steady 82bpm. The track commences with a twelve second introduction that features an ominous melodic progression and effected vocalisations which set the tone for the proceeding verse.
