ABOUT THE ARTIST

FaR DaDi is a thirty-three year old artist who is originally from Denmark. In addition to his evident talent as a rapper, producer and lyricist, FaR DaDi has also established himself as a painter under the title UnderTaci. Coming from an unstable background that included criminal dealings with “drugs, shootings…violence…car chases [and] stealing”, FaR DaDi has dedicated himself to cultivating a better life in the artistic industry for his three kids.

With no prior releases, FaR DaDi burst onto the music scene on the second of September this year with his debut release: ‘The EP’, that is currently available to stream on Deezer! Now that his first release is finally out there, FaR DaDi has already begun developing momentum with over eighteen-hundred followers on Instagram alone.

Our featured EP, ‘The EP’ by FaR DaDi, is out now and available to stream on Deezer! The EP lasts around nineteen minutes and consists of five unique tracks: ‘Whoom Whoom (Black Nike Diss)’, ‘I Know You’, ‘I Came I Saw’, ‘Make a Choice’, and ‘For Me and You’.

The first official audio video to drop from the EP, ‘I Came I Saw’, lasts three minutes and fifty seconds and sits at a steady 150bpm. The track commences with a twenty-four second introduction that combines stylistic synth layers with a rhythmic beat and subtle vocalisations; setting the tone for the proceeding verse that kicks in at 0:25.

FaR DaDi’s vocal color is clean and emotive; seamlessly synchronising with the melodic flow of the instrumental accompaniment. Although the various eclectic layers repeat with a hypnotic vibe, FaR DaDi’s vocal intensity shifts for the main hook, providing just the right amount of dynamic diversity to engage the listener from start to finish. The beat drops out at the 3:35 mark; transitioning the instrumentation to a solo synth section that provides the perfect diminuendo-styled outro.

Although FaR DaDi’s unique and authentic compositional method permeates throughout the EP in its entirety, each track provides a unique insight into FaR DaDi’s creative talent; from the anthem-like flow and smooth vocal of ‘Whoom Whoom (Black Nike Diss)’, the eclectically effected vocal sample and creatively panned synth in ‘I Know You’, the atmospheric production and free-flowing lyricism of ‘Make a Choice’, to the memorable hook supported by the melodic amalgamation of piano and palm-muted guitar in ‘For Me and You’.
