ABOUT THE ARTIST
Link & Chain is a Jamaican reggae group who burst onto the streaming scene in 2015. The band of brothers originally formed back in 1986 as a trio and still has its three original members to this day, with the forth member joining in 2015; Dwight Campbell (Ta-Seti), Paul Williams (Congo Paul), Trevor Douglas (Kasha) and O’Neil Griffiths (IceCold).
The band’s name is a references to the “struggle of [their] ancestors” and the unity of “holding together as links on a chain”. Inspired by their Rastafarian faith, Link & Chain incorporate their beliefs into their lyricism and style to write and create their own “unique spiritual, danceable music designed to uplift, educate and entertain”. Although they receive creative inspiration from a number of artists such as The Wailers, Wailing Souls and Steel Pulse, Link & Chain combine a variety of compositional elements to form their unique sound.
With years of experience in the music industry, Link & Chain have thoroughly established themselves; performing at numerous festivals such as Reggae SunSplash (Jamaica), Eastern Consciousness Western Consciousness (Jamaica), and Riverside Arts Festival (California).

Link&Chain have been releasing their original music since 1990 when they dropped their debut single, ‘African Struggle’, on Vinyl. Their follow-up record, ‘New Day’, was produced by Lawrence “Jack Ruby” Lindo and was released by the RAS Records Label. In 1992, Link & Chain’s album ‘S.T.O.P’ was produced by Phillip “Fatis” Burrell for RAS Records Label.
Link & Chain have one album, four singles and one EP in their Spotify discography. One of their most popular tracks, ‘Ready’, has amassed almost twenty-six thousand streams on Spotify alone. With a growing number of followers and listeners, there is no denying the fact that Link & Chain have developed a dedicated following of loyal fans.
