ABOUT THE ARTIST

Dj Triple M is a Chicago based DJ who began his journey into music composition when a friend gifted him an NI Maschine Mikro. After learning how to use his new equipment, Dj Triple M began composing tracks, initially releasing them on SoundCloud. The decision to start putting his music out into the world resulted in an EDM Trap Label from Amsterdam taking notice of his talent. Dj Triple M inevitably signed a small contract and used the experiential knowledge that was gained to start his very own production house: El3KTR0 45.

Since then, Dj Triple M has developed an impressive discography that includes two albums: 2019’s ‘Chicago ‘L’’ and 2020’s ‘Trap$Olated’ , as well as twenty one single/EP releases: ‘Orange Line’, ‘Filthy’, ‘Ego Stroke’, ‘Oblivvy’, ‘Hit’um High’, ‘Save You’, ‘Break’, ‘Blue Line’, ‘Nite Sky’, ‘Bruhrakka’, ‘Just Wanna’, ‘That Is Cheap’, ‘Bass Cafe’, ‘Better Than’, ‘Kiddy Land’, ‘Bounce’, ‘Wait For It’, ‘Generic $hit’, ‘Red Line II Addison’, ‘High Riders’ and ‘Triple OG’.

With tracks like the 2020 single ‘High Riders’ amassing more than thirty three thousand streams on Spotify alone, it’s fair to say that Dj Triple M’s momentum as a streaming artist is continually increasing.

Our featured album, ‘Trap$Olated’ by Dj Triple M, is out now and available to stream on all major streaming platforms! The album lasts thirty two minutes and consists of ten tracks: ‘Trap$Olated’, ‘Booty Shake’, ‘Fame’, ‘Back 2 the Wall’, ‘Just Playin’’, ‘Click Clack’, ‘Filthy 2’, ‘Breaking Through’, ‘Bring Dat Shit’, and ‘VVS’.

The title track, ‘Trap$Olated’, lasts two minutes and twelve seconds and sits at a steady 150bpm. The single commences with a crescendo that subtly fades the main melodic hook into the mix. Light percussion is added at the 0:12 mark, creating an additional sense of anticipation as the single continues to incrementally build. The lyrics, “one, two three, go”, initiate the first drop at 0:38; an eclectic main melodic riff is coupled with panned percussion and a foundational sub-bass. With a second drop coming in around two thirds of the way through the track, there is just the right amount of stylistic diversity to keep the listener completely engaged with Dj Triple M’s creative composition.

Although this album is categorised under one genre classification, the diversity between each track is undeniable; from the intense drop in ‘Trap$Olated’, the ambient synth and reverberated percussion in ‘Click Clack’, the memorable vocal melody in ‘Breaking Through’, to the ominous samples and intense beat of ‘VVS’.
