ABOUT THE ARTIST
Dj Rufio is a nineteen year old self-taught, multi-platform producer who burst onto the music scene back in 2018 with his debut single ‘The Time Traveler’. Dj Rufio’s interest in music production began back when he was just a child: “As a kid from the IE he struggled to find his place in the music world”. His desire to find a unique and authentic sound drove him to amalgamate elements from various genres within the electronic music scene, creating his signature Hyprid Trap.
To date, Dj Rufio has seven Single/EPs releases in his online discography. Some of this most successful tracks include the likes of ‘Suburbs’, gathering more than eight thousand streams, ‘Nightmare’, amassing almost three thousand streams, and ‘Brutal Shock’ with over one thousand three hundred streams on Spotify alone. With four Single/EPs dropping since the beginning of this year, Dj Rufio has undeniably developed a huge amount of momentum behind his original music as we move into the final quarter of 2020.

The single lasts three minutes and fifty-nine seconds and sits at a steady 150bpm. The track commences with an eighteen second introduction that combines atmospheric instrumentation with a plethora of eclectic sound samples; setting the tone for the instigation of the main beat.
The powerful sub-bass/beat combination kicks in at the 0:19 mark and resultantly drives the rhythmic intensity of the single. The beat drops out from around 0:52 to 1:11 and features a spoken word sound bite that sits stylistically in the mix, whilst also allowing the instrumental accompaniment to gradually build in a crescendo-styled manor, peaking at 1:25.
