ABOUT THE ARTIST
DJ Newtone, otherwise known as Arnaud Pot, is a Belgium born DJ who has performed to crowds exceeding ten-thousand people with well-established artists that include Solomun, Nico Morano and even Maceo Plex.
Newtone’s first experience with the music industry came by way of a very different genre, Metal. Achieving success across Europe and Russia from 2008 to 2016, Newtone played guitar for the metal band The Last Shot Of War. Inevitably drawn to the world of Deep-House and Tech House, Newtone went on to pursue a successful career as a DJ. His highly anticipated debut album ‘Ultimatum’ is set to be released in September of 2020.

The upcoming single, ‘Letter To The World’, will be released on the 3rd of June 2020 as a part of the ten track album ‘Ultimatum’ which is to be released in September.
The single sits at a steady 125bpm and starts with a fourteen second instrumental introduction that gradually builds the melodic tension. At the 0:15 mark, a steady percussive beat instigates a progressive build that is met with the opening lyrical contribution from Austin based singer Kaylin Karr. Although effects are used on the main vocal line, the clarity and precision of Kaylin’s vocal tone shines through as a prominent feature on the track.
At 0:46, the main drop hits with a stabbing synth section that amalgamates with the rhythmic beat and foundational bass to create an epic house composition. The single breaks down at around the 2:18 mark, gradually implementing various forms of panned instrumentation to create a crescendo that peaks at 3:04.
